Zion - in August

We met up with Ryan, Jenn, Shaye and Braxton at Zion. It was August and we had a fun adventure. Ryan, Jenn, Shaye, Braxton, Kade, Kari and Kya went rafting down the river and just as they got into the river it started pouring. Our camera got a bit wet so it was kind of foggy. We had crock pot chili and potatoes. They brought watermelon, doughnuts and lemonade. It was yummy. Kolden was pretty scared in the down pour back at camp. I was trying to set up camp with Kolden and Kiera in the rain while everyone else was rafting. We went and picked them up two miles down river an hour and a half later.



We dried off the next day and enjoyed a little r & r. We had several squirrels that liked to eat our cookies right through the bag. They were sneaky creatures.

I dragged my family on a hike. How can we be in Zion and not go enjoy a hike!?! You can see from the way we are profusely sweating that it was very humid and hot.
We watched a movie outside that night.
The next day we went and ran the river walk trail.
Grandma came and watched the kids while Clint, Chad, Kade and myself went tubing.
The river was nice and full and we had a great time! It is always so funny to do things with Kade and my brothers. Their laughter is very contagious, especially Clint's.
Kari and Kiera talked to the Park Ranger about bats.
