Cheesman/Rasmusson 24th of July Reunion

The 24th of July Parade in Beaver, Utah is always fun. The kids love all the candy and fun floats.
At the end of the Parade is a big water truck and the kids love to run after it and get drenched!
All the cousins are in the group. You can see Kya in the flag shorts and blue top.
Kade is holding Kiera.
They all have had candy, cheese curd and little toys, and they are all wet and loving it!
Kya, Kiera, Kari, Kaylee, Kylee, Daycee, Ben and Haylee.
Brian, Jennica's husband brought his huge bubble machine. The kids had a blast with it!
We camped up on Beaver Mountain. It was lots of fun to spend time with all the family.
Aunt Brittany with Cloee and Aunt Shelly with Karlee.
Uncle Kyler, Aunt Hillary, Uncle Ryan Rasmusson, Jennica Alexander, and Grandma Creta.
Uncle Ryan, Grandma Creta and Grandpa Brian Cheesman.
Kade and Ryan are 4-wheeling adventurers. They went on some fun rides on the mountain.
Kari did great on the rope line that Brian Alexander put up. Uncle Berke is helping the kids get going on the rope.
Kiera loves this swing and could have just stayed in it the entire weekend.
Kya also did great on the rope and built her confidence. She is growing up so fast!

Uncle Chad's knee surgery

Three days after Chad got home from his mission he had surgery on both his knees. His meniscus in both his knees were torn. In this picture he is chilling at our house while the rest of the family is at Tuachan. We were so happy to have him around and the kids loved it.

Hit & Run Torino

Someone (our nomadic neighbors, nomadic because they change in that house every two months) hit Kade's Torino and didn't tell us. Kade filed a police report and the police talked to our neighbors because of the red paint on their truck. They said a black trailer hit them and that is how red paint got on their car. Their story doesn't add up and we are pretty unhappy they won't be honest. Kade needs to re-paint the car now.

Kolden 7 weeks old in his Tux

Kolden looks SO handsome in his little tux. He looks so much like Kade, I love it! A note about Kolden's tux. I went to The Bear Mill, where they have Build a Bear animals. This tux was $15! I slipped it on Kolden in the store and the owner thought I was kidding at first, but then she realized I was serious about using it for my little baby. I bought a bear so the bear can wear Kolden's tux now that it is too small for him.
I can't describe it, but there is something special about having a little boy. Kolden is so cuddely and has a smile that just melts my heart!
We see a peak of his dimple in this photo.

Such a handsome boy!

Uncle Chad's Mission Homecoming & Kolden's Blessing

My youngest brother, Chad, just got off the plane from Chile. We are SO excited to have him back and give him lots of hugs.
My kids are the neices and nephew that Chad has. Chad was introduced to Kiera and Kolden, whom he had never met. Chad looks great and we are thrilled to have him back!
My mom worked very hard get ready for Chad's dinner.
Chad gave his misson report talk and Kolden was blessed. I made balloon people to represent them. Don't they look similar?
Handsome baby Kolden in his little tux (from the Bear Mill) with Grandma Creta and Grandpa Brian Cheesman.
Baby Kolden with dad and mom.
Grandma Beth has a sweet sleeping baby Kolden.
Our girls are so funny and full of energy.

These are my siblings and my mom. We all look like adults, that is so weird.

The New Balloon Bouquet

This is a new base I have made for a three flower balloon bouquet. It is pretty cute. I like it.

They mystery bird

This beautiful young bird has been living on the deck of Brian and Creta's house for over a week. It has a sibling that comes to visit. It doesn't fly so they finally called animal control and hopefully these miraculous birds will get some help if they are injured. I am not a bird expert so I don't know if it is a hawk or a falcon, but it is so beautiful! You can see the sharp tip of the beak and the talons.

Camping in Pine Valley

We were going to go on a walk and all three girls skwooshed together. They are very cute together.
Ahhh, finally it is time to sleep. Kiera and Kari actually fell asleep in their chairs around the camp fire. Kya held out with some one-on-one time with mom and dad. Kolden stayed in St. George with Grandma Creta for a sleep over. Our camping trip was much less stressful without having to worry about Kolden.
We took a walk down to the Pine Valley Reservoir. The girls got out to stretch their legs and do a little ballet.
Our camp site was right by the river (so we had to watch the girls extremely carefully, especially Kiera). Kari made friends with the kids in the neighboring campsite and they played pretend by the creek.
Kya and Kiera got me to venture into the icy water. It was very cold!
Kade and Kari pretended to go fishing.
Oh - I think they caught a big one!
Of course we must have treats on a campout and you can see they enjoyed it. The sugar went well with all the dirt. We had a fun campout and it was nice to get out of the heat.

Ice Cream and Water at the Main Street Park

Aunt Karla treated us to ice cream so we went to the Main Street Park to enjoy it. I saw this picture and was shocked that I have four kids. WOW!
You can see that Kiera was really enjoying her ice cream. I love it!
The messier the better.
Kolden is so long, but still so little. He does weigh 9 lbs now. He is a bottom less pit and eats twice as much as his sisters ever ate.
Kiera found the water.
And we couldn't drag her away from it for a while. She got all clean and cooled off.
Kya and Kari soon joined in with Kiera.
Don't worry, Kya does have shorts on under her flapper-girl dress. She must be dressed up wherever we go.
We love the water!
and we are happy to show it!
On the way to the car the girls found the statues and would tap them on the shoulders and yell out "can you hear me?".
So, they are not real, but we are giving them big hugs anyways.
Kiera is even getting a kiss on the cheek.
Kya looks like she is being proposed to and isn't sure how to answer. "I just don't know."
Kari found a new friend, like she does everywhere we go. She definitely has the gift of finding and making new friends easily, even if they are statues.
