Cheesman/Rasmusson 24th of July Reunion

The annual reunion was a fun one as usual. We enjoyed beating the blazing July St. George heat for a bit cooler temperatures in Beaver.
The kids and some bigger kids (adults) did some games at the park. Many of the games were from 'minute to win it'.

Kade got in some golfing at the park with Kyler.
We rode the 4-wheelers to the potty and enjoyed those.
Kolden loved playing with Jennica and Brian's sweet doggy. Kolden is really good at pretending he is a puppy too!

We just couldn't resist a 'big kid' size teeter totter. We LOVE playing on those!
Ryan, Shaye and Braxton were up on the mountain with Kyler, Hillary and Livy, Grandma Creta, Grandpa Brian, Tina and us. We had really great weather!
It was so fun to get together with everyone and visit.
On the way home we had a bit of an accident. We were pulling Brian and Creta's camper with the 4-wheelers behind it and they were pulling our little camper. Well, the axle of their camper broke and created quite the fireworks display. The tire came off, bounced off the guard rail into the middle of the road then back off the road and started a forest fire.
Kade handled our car with the caravan of trailers behind it so well that I had no idea it was as bad as it was. The kids even stayed asleep. (Kade is just that good - he has mad skills.)

That was the braking mechanism from the tire and the axel.

We were so incredibly blessed by the Lord that we were so safe and protected. We were not harmed and no one else was either. Brian and Creta said the 4-wheeler trailer was fish tailing so badly they didn't know how it didn't flip over. Heavenly Father protected us and we are truly grateful. I seriously doubt we will EVER be pulling a trailer with another trailer behind it again. Pulling a camper is good enough.

Some 'good Samaritans' cam by and put out the fire before it became overwhelmingly out of control with some fire extinguishers and coolers of water and ice. Again, we were soooo blessed!

Brian called a tow truck company to take the trailer to his house and we finished our journey home. The kids were board of waiting, but we were all safe and well. It was an exciting end to our family reunion.

Wow Kelli - it is amazing to me to see this documented with pictures. I too am so grateful at the way this turned out. It could so easily have had a disastrous ending. I'm glad you guys are living so well that you can receive such blessings. Love you.
