The kids are cleaning!!!!

I just had to document this joyous occation. My children are cleaning without having to be asked!!! Kolden loves to try and sweep and Kya is really good at folding towels. We are progressing and it is wonderful!

Murder Mystery Dinner with the Cluffs, Heads & Jacks

This is our third Civil War Murder Mystery Dinner. We had another group of friends from my work. The Jacks, Cluffs and Heads came and we had a great time!

This was such a fun dinner. These following pictures were some of the decorations we used.



I really like the simple white table setting with a blue ring because they wouldn't have had real fancy dishes back then.

Hallie's Pirate Birthday Party

It was cousin Hallie's 4th birthday and she invited us to her pirate birthday. We had a great time and we were excited to get to celebrate with Hallie.

Kolden is a cute pirate.
Kade and I especially enjoyed our tatoo arm covers. Don't we look so fierce!

Aunt Ashley made their kitchen look like a big ship with a treasure box. It was very cool!
She also made a pirate map and took the kids on a treasure hunt. At the end was a gold pirate chest with their fun birthday treasure. It was a great party!

Kya has the pirate drool down. I personally love the hook hand and the sword at her side.
You can't hear Kari, but I'm sure she is saying "Ahrrrrrrgggggggg!"
Kiera really enjoyed the chocolate cupcakes. She and I both love chocolate cake. Thanks for inviting us! We had a great time!

Murder Mystery Dinner with the Campbells, Cooks & Andersons

This was the second Civil War Murder Mystery Dinner with the Campbells, Cooks and Andersons. They are all friends from my work.

Tea Party with the Girls

The girls get to have friends over once in a while and they often choose to have a tea party. This time it was a princess tea party. Kari invited Sara Hutchins, Kya invited _______Farnsworth and Kiera invited Olivia Gordon.

Kolden & Daddy working on Cars

Kolden is now walking!!! Now that he can walk he is all over being with dad in the garage. Kolden will go out there and hand Kade tools. He will walk over to where Kade is working and make grunting noises and pretend to do what Kade is doing with the car or truck Kade is working on. I love watching the boys working together they are so cute! I think they have a bright future together.

Cheesman Family Murder Mysery Dinner

We started out Murder Mystery dinners for this year with the Cheesman Family. This year I did much research on the Civil War to make the Civil War Murder Mystery Dinner called, "A CasualtyAdmist Civil War". A Union soldier from the South, 'Sergent Vic' was found murdered far from any battle. With the game there is a picturade/ charades game giving real information about the American Civil War. Then there was a quiz about the information you learned from the pictionary/charades game. The two top players with the most points received extra clues to finding out who the murder was.
We ended up having 6 sessions of this Mystery Diunner and all of them were very fun and successful! We really enjoyed everyone that came and participated. Many that have come to most we have held say that it is the best one I have written yet. I absolutely loved the costumes and was happy to lend out my dresses.

Mom & Daughter Halloween Party

It is Halloween time and we LOVE Halloween because we get to dress up! Grandma Beth asked us to go to the Mother-Daughter Halloween party at her ward so we went, but Kolden is not a daughter and since we didn't really have any boy costumes we had him dress up as a sister. He does make a really cute sister.

Kolden was a sister and so super cute, but we are glad he is a brother - for sure!

Annual Staheli Farm Fun!

We could come here every weekend and just love it! There is always adventure to be had at the Stahlie Farm. Kolden enjoyed his first red neck trampoline.
I think I need to figure out the camera better or learn how to take better pictures because this was a really cute picture, but didn't turn out so good.
Oh, we love swings!


We watched pig races this year. I always see some students I have had or do have working there.
We love the petting zoo. This was a very friendly donkey.
The kids liked the cows and then they started moo-ing and they were a bit startled. You can see by the look on Kolden's face that he wasn't sure how he like the cows up close. For Kolden, all the animals were either puppies or kitties. Kodlen really loves dogs.
Kari is very acrobatic on the rope swing. She is a daring girl!
This was a fun new game this year. We had to pump the water out into the rain gutters and get the ducks to the other end. It was a race! Kade and I love a bit of competition and played the game over and over again several times.
Kolden is all boy and loves anything with wheels, like this tractor.
The girls found more swings and daddy was so great to pull them so they could swing.

We went on the tractor cart ride. It was so fun!

The girls didn't go down the corn slide so much this year, but enjoyed playing in the corn.

We had another great trip to the Stahlie Farm! Until next year.
