Kari took a picture of a RAINBOW

Choice "A"
Choice "B"
Kari took these pictures of a rainbow for Reflections. The theme this year is "Beauty is..."
You can take you vote if you would like. Should she enter "A" or "B"? Leave a comment and your vote. It sure is a pretty picture and a nice reminder of the tender mercies of God.

Kolden is 3 months old!

Isn't he just the cutest little boy! I'll admit it - I am a complete sucker for that dimple and the sparkly eyes! He is such a fun little boy!
Everyone loves to play with Baby Kolden! He is growing so fast, we just have to enjoy it while it lasts!

Kya's Broken Elbow & Haircuts

We decided to get a shorter haircut for Kari and a trim for Kya so there wouldn't be so much sadness when we brush out their hair in the morning. Here is Kari and Kya before the haircuts.
Cute Kiera and Kya. Kya has a cast on her arm because she broke her elbow. Kiera and Kya were playing on the couch and Kiera pushed Kya. Kya fell over the arm of the couch onto the tile in front of the door. This was last Sunday night at bedtime and me, being the wonderful mom I am, told Kya that her arm couldn't really hurt that bad and I sent her to bed. Monday morning her arm was so swollen and she couldn't stand to have it moved or touched. She had a splint cast for two days and then got this hard pink cast that she will sport for at least 3 weeks. Poor Kya, but she has been a real trooper through it all. We love Kya!

Here is Kari demonstrating her new hair. She even styled her hair all by herself. She had particular opinions about the flower bow and wehre it would be. She is a very funny girl!

The Sabaitis Family over for dinner

We were so happy to have the Sabaitis Family over for a Raclette dinner. We enjoyed their company! This family is so amazing! They are always giving service and are genuinely kind! They give us hand-me-downs for our girls and are fantastic neighbors.

Spinach Brownies

I decided to try spinach in brownies. I used a low fat brownie mix. I used two egg whites and 1/2 cup of water in a blender with 1/2 cup of frozen spinach. I added it to the mix and it looked pretty interesting going in, as you can see. We added some extras into the mix to change the flavors up.
On the right is the peanut butter batch. We added some reduced fat peanut butter (yummy) and some peanut butter chips on top. To the left we have mint chocolate brownies. I added just a touch of peppermint oil and then some mint chips on top. Both were wonderful! You never would have guessed they were kind of even healthy for you - at least compared to regular brownies. We give spinach brownies two thumbs up!

New Ice Cream Hat & Haylee's B-Day

This is the new ice cream hat that I can make. This is a fun hat!
I made this hat to my niece Haylee for her birthday. She looks cute in it!
The kids played different circus style games.
They enjoyed the pinata too!
Of course they all loved the candy. Thanks for inviting us to the party!
