Cheesman Family Photos - Holidays '09

We have a bunch of crazy kids that we love soooooo much! It is hard to get them all smiling at once, but these are still cute photos.
The big extended Cheesman Family. How fun to see how much it has grown and how fast all our little ones are growing! "And all because two people fell in love..."
FUNNY PHOTO!
Grandma and Grandpa Cheesman with all 14 Grandkids.
Fun in the fall leaves with Grandma and Grandpa.
Kade's immediate family. Wow - they are all so tall!
This shows the real family chemistry! Lots of FUN!

Ice skating in Provo with the Cottams

We went ice skating in Provo. It was so much fun and they had these kid walkers to help them feel more secure on the ice. At first the girls were very hesitant to use them, but they each found what was most comfortable for them. Chad is helping Kari.
I helped Kya, but Kya found that she preferred me to just hold her up between my legs. I know the walker helped me feel more comfortable on the skates at first.
Clint and Kari are taking a little break here for a bit. It turns out from this ice skating Clint got a bad sore on his calf that ended up being infected and made him really sick about five days later. He got some antibiotics and is doing better now.
Kya and Kiera each took turns having me take them around the rink. My glutes and hamstrings got a great workout from that.
Kolden was trying to stay warm with Grandma Beth. He was so tired in this picture, he just couldn't keep his eyes open anymore.
Kari is a pro! She is going at it by herself with the walker.
She saw a guy stop on his skates and figured it out really fast. She is much more athletically talented than I am.
Kade did very well too!....
...until he fell and landed really hard. He hurt his hip and neck from the fall so he went to a Chiropractor this week and is doing great now! We had lots of fun from our ice skating adventure!

Swimming at Zermot in Midway

What a cool picture of Clint and Chad playing catch with Kari in the swimming pool. Of course, she loved it!
While we were staying in Zermot we were able to go swimming and it was lots of fun!
Kade, Kiera and Kya. Holding the kids helped us stay warmer in the water.
Poor Kolden was freezing, the water was too cold for me too. Aunt Karla was so nice to take care of him.
I was trying to not be captured by the "mermaids and mermen". Kya and I were working hard to escape.

Thanksgiving at Zermont in Midway with the Cottams

We got to go to Zermont, a condo in Midway, thanks to Grandma Beth (Cottam). We had lots of fun staying at our "Vacation House", as the girls called it.
We had Thanksgiving together and it was fantastic and delicious, as always! For some reason I was on a real mash potato kick this year. We were also able to meet one of Clint's friends, Mally. She was very nice and we played Quelf together after dinner. It was hilarious as always and I still feel like I need to have my hand on the floor (this is from one of the stunts in the game).
The after-effects of a big delicious Thanksgiving meal!

Kiera's 2nd Birthday!!

Happy Birthday to KIERA! Kiera is 2 years old and she is very good at being 2 years old! She is a great big sister for Kolden and always is eager to take care of him and entertain him. Kiera is a fierce competetor with her two big sisters. She wants to do everything they are doing and more. She can pick a fight very well and stand her ground. She is very talented in being extremely stubborn. Kade and I are working hard to help Kiera use her stubborn powers for good and not evil.
Kiera wants to be 5 because Kari is 5, and five fingers are lots easier to hold up than 2.
Uncle Chad, Grandma Beth and Uncle Pete are helping us celebrate!
Haylee, Daycee, Ben and Kiera do some cute posing with our Wizard of Oz scene.
Kari, Hailie, Kya and Kiera do some cute posing too!
Grandma Creta and Daddy are helping play with the kids in the back yard. It was such a nice day outside.
Kiera is not a big cake eatter right now, so she wanted cup cakes with pink raspberry frosting. Her candles were very important. Kiera wanted a rainbow hat and she picked which colors were to be in the rainbow. She wore that hat for about a week after her birthday party.
Great Job Kiera!!! Kiera blew her candles out in the first try.
Here is our wonderful family that has come to wish Kiera a Happy Birthday!
Uncle Chad does a good job modeling the cupcakes.
Grandpa Brian, Aunt Brittany, Cousin Cloee, and Aunt Ashley (pregnant with Cousin Zoe) are enjoying the treats.
The kids are around the table enjoying as well, including Haylee, Kiera, and Kya.
Kiera is a happy girl!
Present time!
The baby doll was a big hit...
...along with crayons, balls, and clothes. Thanks everyone for coming and helping us celebrate. Also, thanks for the great gifts!
HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY KIERA!!!

Kolden & baby food success!

Kari did a great job helping feed our baby Kolden! It also allowed me the chance to grab the camera.

What a cute baby food face! Kolden likes green beans and applesauce. Pears are okay, but so far he is not a fan of squash. We will try many more times though. Horray for baby food!
Kade and Kolden are some cool dudes. Kole especially looks guapo in his shades.
I love his many cute faces! Love our baby Kolden!

A "Wizard of Oz" Halloween

Our whole family dressed up as characters in "The Wizard of Oz". Maybe this should be our Christmas card this year, since it is hard to get a smiley picture of everyone otherwise. It does show that there is lots of drama on a daily basis, especially with so many so young. This was a very fun Halloween to dress up for.Kade was the Tin Man and I was the Scarecrow. Kade is rusted so he cannot move. I am wishing that I had a brain.
"We're off to see the Wizard...the wonderful Wizard of Oz".
I am stuck on a pole to scare away the crows.
Kade is a bit rusty, if you listen carefully you can hear him trying to say 'oil can'.
He looks really good in chrome!
Our Cowardly Lion isn't sure he loves everyone in costumes.
Kolden makes a very cute lion just the same!
Kari is Dorothy and she is ready to follow the Yellow Brick Road in her ruby slippers.
Kari even has a version of Toto that she wishes was a real dog.
Kya is our Good Witch of the North. I personally love her stockings.
She even does some magic with her wand!
Kiera is the Wicked Witch of the West. She gives us a good lesson in choices. A short time after we took these pictures we were ready to head out to our Trunk or Treat and we were commenting on her being such a cute "Wicked Witch". She looked right at me and pointed to herself. She said, "I am GOOD WITCH, not BAD WITCH". I really felt bad that she knew she was the Wicked Witch and she didn't like it. So, from Kiera's choice to be a "Good Witch", she is now the Green Good Witch. I guess in the play "Wicked" that the Witch of the West is really a good witch.
Our Green Good Witch - Kiera! You always have a choice, even if you are stuck (with your wicked witch costume because your mom put you in it).

Cute girls!

I like this photo the best! Maybe every Halloween will be a theme year, maybe not. We will see what our kids want to do next year. Anyway, we LOVE Halloween and we love dressing up all year round! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!
