Our Annual STAHELI FARM Adventure

Every fall we look forward to going to Staheli Farm. The cows are always a hit, as are the petting zoo and the corn slide. This year by the pumpkin patch they had some scenes you could take pictures by. Our girls had so much fun at Staheli Farm. This was Kiera's first experience there. Kiera is 11 months old, Kya is 2 1/2 years old and Kari is 4 1/2 years old.
"Help, Mom got me!" Kiera was then tickled and kissed. She just wants to get into the corn pit to eat the corn.
Cute Kiera, she has a deep dimple in her chin like her daddy.
This was Kya's first solo attempt down the corn slide.
Kari thought the piggies were so cute - like Wilbur (from Charlot's Web).
Kari and Kya stop to smile while enjoying the petting zoo. Kari especially loves the horses.
This year they had some tire swings. Kya is having fun!
Kari's turn - yee haw!
Kya and Kiera try out the "Redneck Trampoline".

Murder Mystery Dinner "A Rampage in Rome"

For those that don't know, every October Kade and I host a Murder Mystery Dinner. I usually have to edit them to make them more PG rated, so this year I decided to write my own. It is called "Rampage in Rome". It was so much fun. Kade says I should sell this clean Murder Mystery Dinner on the internet, but we'll see. We had three different dinners because the max number of people at one dinner is eight. We were happy to have all our guests come, dress-up and have fun. Kade and I were the same characters for all three dinners. I was a musician named Vibia and Kade was Giaus, a gladiator. (Our daughters were SO proud of their daddy for dressing up like Hercules - he is the latest Disney crush.)

The Campbell's as a soldier named Quintus and a widow named Tita.
The Cluff's as a Pagan worshiper named Octavius and the Empress Spuria.
The Parker's as a slave named Servius and a concubine named Aphillia.
Our new neighbors, who we love having as neighbors, the Cleavland's as the Empress Spuria and a Pagan worshiper, Octavius.
Karla & Clint Cottam (my sister and brother) as a widow, Tita, and a soldier, Quintus.
The Edward's (they are expecting twins, a boy and a girl, anytime now) as a concubine named Aphillia and a slave named Servius.
Some of our decorations for the house
To help create an atmosphere we brought in a fountain - very Roman like.
The Wallace's (also expecting a baby girl) as a soldier and a widow.
The Cheesman's (Brian & Creta) as a Pagan worshipper and the Empress.
The Cheesman's (Cortney & Ashley) as a concubine and a slave.
I love dishes and place settings! Setting the table is one of the funnest parts of a Murder Mystery Dinner to me.
Our deceased Emperor, Regulus Augustus, for the Murder Mystery Dinner is the guy on the wall.

Kari & Kya

Kari and Kya love to play with Aunt Karla and Grandma Beth.
They also love to play dress-up all day, everyday, but not usually with wigs. This is the practice run of our Halloween costumes. We love Halloween! Kya is Snow White, in fact she now says her name is "Kyandra Snow White Cheesman". Kari is Sleeping Beauty, although Kya pronounces it Sleeping "Boody" - which we think is hillarious.

Runnin'

I ran a 10K in June, it was a "gift" from my brother and we ran together. So I decided to try out another, but my brother was doing the half marathon and I am not half marathon material. Kade didn't want me running alone so he decided to join me and we did the 5K. It was fun to run with my hubby - isn't he handsome!

Large flower boquets - Balloon Creations by Kelli.

My hobby is "blossoming".

After our third sweet little girl, Kierana, I had some post pardom blues (they seem to get worse after each child) and I started eating like crazy - everything in sight. Well, in February I decided things needed to change and I joined Weight Watchers and started trying to find ways I enjoyed exercising. I also realized I needed a stress reliever - something to do just for me and I could learn new things. I joked that I should take up balloon twisting, and then for my birthday last March my parents-in-law gave me a pump, bag of balloons and a beginers book for twisting balloons. I started twisting and I love it! I am even making a little money off of it by doing baloon boquets, like this one. I can do fun animals and theme displays. I am going to be twisting balloons at our ward's Halloween Carnival and I've done a convention and some birthday parties. Let's be clear though, I'm no clown, I'm a TWISTER! Oh - side note. I have lost 45 pounds since February and I've learned that I love spinning classes (biking) and I've even started to enjoy runing - I know it's crazy.

We are a blogging family now!

I think I may have just enough of a handle on life that I could try to keep a blog for my family. I love seeing everyone elses blogs and if your interested in seeing our cute family then we welcome you to check in on our crazy and fun adventures.
Pictures will be coming in the near future.
Our Family: Kade and Kelli Cheesman
St. George, Utah
Kade and I (Kelli) are very happily married with three girls. Kade and I grew up one house apart on the same street since 4th grade. I had the biggest crush on Kade since we were 13 years old. We were friends throughout high school and after our missions we were married in the St. George Temple on May 10, 2002. We had some adventures in Logan and then moved back to St. George where we had our first daughter Karinya (Kari-for short) on February 4, 2004. We bought our home in July by Pine View Middle School, where I began teaching 8th and 9th grade Science in August. Our second daughter, Kyandra (Kya-for short) came to us on March 31, 2006. We were surprised by our third daughter only 19 months later when Kierana (Kiera-for short) was born November 5, 2007. Our girls are such a joy to us! They are our treasures! They teach us and make us laugh and dress-up. I am amazed at how messy they are though. Kade works the swing shift at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center so he is home with the girls in the day, and we trade off when I get home from work. It is challenging, but we make it work and Kade and I really enjoy our time with each other. We love our family!
