Kaylee & Kylee's Baptism & Chucky Cheese

Just a week after Haylee's baptism was Kaylee and Kylee Cheesman's baptisms! We were so lucky to go up and see Kaylee and Kylee get baptised in Salt Lake. It was another special day and we were grateful we got tobe there with them!
We went to Chucky Cheese that night to celebrate with them.

Kolden and Kiera rode that carosel for probably an hour. They loved it!
Kambree and Kyandra
Daycee and Kierana
Kolden and Kierana
Daycee and Karinya are both the same age and they both have lost their front teeth. What cute toothless girls!
Kolden, Kyandra and Kierana - we love trucks and cars!
Ben joins in too!
Kolden is tired and long haired daddy gets cuddles and loves.

More and more and more and more carosel time. They just loved it!
Kade and Berke challenged each other to basketball. It was fun watching them play together! I think Kade won that round.

Kolden's first HAIR CUT!

Our little MR. doesn't look like a girls anymore - he got his first big boy hair cut. We would be in public with all the kids and even though Kolden was wearing boy clothes, people would still comment on our four cute girls. Now he looks all boy and still has some of his cute curls left.
Kade was pretty surprised I actually went through with it and got his hair cut. Kade is currently going through a "I am afraid I'm balding so I will just have long hair myself" phase. His hair is by far longer than mine. It is kind of funny. Everyone hates his long hair and Kade thinks it is hillarious. When Kade is ready I'm sure he will cut it. For now, our cute Kolden boy has an awesome boy cut. I think he likes it, he doesn't pull his hair now like he use to. Thanks Kandice - you did a great job cutting his hair!

Haylee's Baptism

Cousin Haylee Wallace was baptised. This was a special day! Haylee is the first of the Cheesman cousins to get baptised. I know our girls thought it was really neat!

We had a lunch after at Aunt Brittany's home. It was fun to get to celebrate with Haylee and her family.

We got a chance to play with Berke & Shelly's girls that weekend too. We enjoyed jump roping on Grandma and Grandpa Cheesman's lawn. Our girls sure do enjoy getting to spend time with their cousins.

Campbell Girls Over

We were lucky to have the Campbell girls come over. Their family moved to a wonderful new home. They are much farther away from us, in Washington Fields, but we still get to car pool for pre-school and we will have to make sure to have play dates. While Janessa and Evan were moving things from the old house to the new house the girls got to come play and then we had dinner with their whole family over. It rained that day and we caught everyone outside with this beautiful rainbow. God sure has given us lovely creations! So, we have all these lovely girls with a lovely rainbow behind them. We wish the Campbell's well in their new home and we are glad they are close enough to still come play occasionally.

Pine Valley 5K & 15 Miler

In the past both Kade and I have ran the Pine Valley 5K, but this year I decided to run the 15 miler to help me train for the marathon. It was rough. I think there was only about half of a mile that was flat. The rest was on gravel road and was extreme down hill or up hill. It was definitely no leisurely run. It was a tough long training run. Kade finished his 5K and took a 2 hour nap in the car while he waited for me. It was our fun date. At the time I was okay with the race and I made the best of it. But in retrospect I do not think I will ever run it again unless I feel I need to be punished or I am being chased on that road by a mountain lion.
Positive Points of the race: it rained on us! There was a nice down pour at the beginning of the race and then it sprinkled on us off and on. Also, there were some amazing wild flowers! I really enjoyed how beautiful they were in a variety of species and colors. I am use to seeing purple thistle blooms but I have never seen white ones. They were lovely. The Pine Valley area is always an enjoyable area to be in. with the fresh mountain air and atmosphere.

CRAZY FOR YOU at Tuacahn

It was a discount night at Tuacahn for teachers so I took my mom and Aunt Linda Paxman and Aunt Karen Cottam (my dad's sisters) and we went to see "Crazy for You". I took Kolden with me and the girls were with a babysitter. We had a very fun time. Kolden kept on trying to sing to the songs. I am in an adult tap class, which I am loving, and so it was really fun to see all the different tap moves and the way they choreographed it all. We had a fun evening!

Crazy kids with the camera

The girls took turns taking pictures of each other. We had to include them in the blog because they did a good job and they are cute.

Play dress-up

We ordered a Civil War Soldier Uniform from ebay and got a real authentic wool reenactment uniform cheaper than just a costume. It is for our Civil War Mystery Dinner and Halloween. Of course we had to try it on. Kade looks so cool!

All the kids tried on the awesome hat! We just love dress-up.

Kari's Two Front Teeth

All she wants for Christmas is her two front teeth. Kari has lost both front teeth and she looks really cute toothless!

Pine Valley Camping

A gorgeous sunset on Pine Valley Mountain.
We went camping and Kolden was all over the place crawling in the dirt. He really didn't seem to mind all the pine needles and rough rocks he was just everywhere. A dirty child = a child that had fun.
Grandma Beth came up...
...and so did Grandma Creta. It was very nice to have their company. They helped us make dinner and enjoy the afternoon.
We tried out fishing at the Pine Valley Reservoir. We have never been fishing before.

The kids ate an entire bottle of pickles while we were trying to fish.
It doesn't matter if it is a princess fishing pole, Kolden was going to try to fish.
It was so funny trying to cast out the lines. Kade was afraid for his life each time I tried casting out. We didn't catch anything, but it was sure fun trying.

First Day of School

Kari's first day of 1st Grade at Dixie Sun Elementary! Kari's teachers this year are Mrs. Bosworth for Spanish and Mrs. Trimble for English. It should be another great year!
My first day of school I was a Mad Scientist. Hey - you gotta make work fun!

39 STEPS - at the Shakespearian Festival

We went and saw "39 STEPS" at the Shakespearean Festival. Beth (Mom), Clint and myself laughed our heads off. This show is an Alfred Hitchcock Murder Mystery Comedy. The performers were so go I decided I had to take Kade to see it.

So, Kade came with me and Karla with Sam, Chad and Creta. We really enjoyed the show. I love sitting by people that really laugh hard. Clint was so fun to sit by the first time because he laughs so hard and Kade was practically rolling on the floor this time.

We had fun on our date. Thanks Mom for tending the kids so we could go and for taking me the first time.

*Lost pictures: Mom (Beth) received some tickets for the Shakespearean Festival for her retirement and she used some of them to take Karla and me to see "Pride and Prejudice". We went out to dinner and then to the show. Karla loves "Pride and Prejudice" and we had a really fun time there. I know we took some pictures, but I can't find them. Maybe I will in the future.
