We headed up north for the holiday weekend and stopped by Berke and Shelly's home on Friday night to visit for a bit and the kids got to play. They let off some fountains and that was fun for the kids to see. We tried to get together with them Saturday morning, but it didn't work out. We stayed with Kade's Aunt Tina that night. It was great to see her newly renovated home and see how well she is doing. We will get to spend more time with them at he camp out in Beaver on the 24th of July.
Grandma Creta treated all of us adults that wanted to go to Stadium of Fire in Provo for the 4th of July on Saturday, the 3rd of July. Hillary and Kyler invited us to a barbaque before the show a their place. It was delicious. I enjoyed the pulled pork sandwiches, they were spicy with cumin and chili pepper, but sweet with brown sugar. Everything was great!

Thanks Kyler and Hillary for having us over. Livy is getting so big, she is almost a year old!

Here we are at the Stadium of Fire at the LaVel Edward's Stadium. Kade, Grandma Creta, Great Grandma Millie Foster Cheesman, and Grandpa Brian.

Cortney and Ashley were with us too!

I love doing things with my handsome hubby. My mom and Chad took the kids for us at the Crystal Inn, which was extremely nice of them.

Here was the stage of the stadium.

There were many performers and youth dancers, including Boy Scouts. They did a good job.

During the program was an Eagle Court of Honor and 216 Boy Scouts became Eagle Scouts. As part of the Eagle's Nest, all Eagle Scouts in the audience of 50,000 we to hold this sign in front of them and stand up. It was cool to see all the Eagle Scouts and I am very proud of Kade. He was an Eagle at the age of 13. I remember how cute he was even back then at his Eagle Court of Honor.

We heard some choirs sing, Apostle-Dallan H. Oak's daughter who is a professional violinist, the Osmonds, second generation, and Carrie Underwood. She put on a good show and I enjoyed her religeous songs, although I only knew one song of her about trashing her cheating boyfriend's car. It was a good concert.

The firework were fenominal! I loved how they timed the fireworks to all the great American music of the past, like "In the Mood" and "Rapsody in Blue". They also did a tribute to the troops and I found it very emotional, thinking of my Grandfather who fought and was shot down in WWII. I thought of all those fighting for our freedom and those willing to die for us.
We live in such a "promised land", where the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored and it is going forth to the whole world. I am so grateful to live here and be a part of it. I am so sad that so many dishonor it and with the Pride Cycle I see that we may loose some of those freedoms if we don't change - as a country. God Bless America!!!!

At the Crystal Inn we went swimming and did a little swimming lessons.

This was Kolden's first time in a swimming pool and he had fun. Kade is such a great dad!

On Sunday we went to my cousin Liz's baby blessing. Her baby, Charlotte May Jenkins, was blessed by her husband, David. They are such great people. Little Charlotte is so beautiful, she looks so much like Liz. Kari and I got to hold her for a while.

The girls enjoyed the playground at the married student housing.

Kolden enjoyed pushing around this car. Soon he will be riding cars like this.

Later that evening we went to Great Grandma Millie's for a get together with all the extended family that lives up there. It was fun to see and visit with Kade's aunts, uncles and cousins - and their children. The Cheesman Family is growing.

We spent the night at Kyler and Hillary's apartment. We appreciate their hospitality. It was fun to visit with them more and let the kids play with Livy.

Such cute kidos! We had a great time visiting family and playing!
