Happy 28th Birthday Aunt Karla! Karla was born on April Fool's Day.
We put trick candles on her cake so Sam helped her extinguish them. Karla's cake was a Reeces Peanut Butter Cup Cake. It was delicious! It was made with a devil's food cake, 1 cup buttermilk, 3 eggs, and 2 cups of chopped up Reeces folded in. The topping was made with heavy whipping cream, a 12 oz package of chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of peanut butter. I poured the topping over the first layer, then the second and smoothed it on around it. I plastered the cake with 2 bags of chopped up Reeces. It was a yummy cake. I was happy to make it for Karla.
Sam is a good helper for Karla. They are very cute together. We are glad they are getting married. Mom made Karla a yummy dinner with home-made cole slaw.
