Happy Birthday KADE!!! Kade has just turned 31 years old and looks as handsome as he ever has been. I think he just gets better and better looking every year! Thanks to Creta and Brian for having Kade! Brian and Creta took us out for Kade's birthday this morning for breakfast. At lunch we had a little Birthday Party for Kade since he had to go to work later in the afternoon. His Birthday Party theme was "Cars", which fits him well.
Here is Karla and her man, Sam. Sam is awesome and we are so happy at how he makes Karla so happy. We will get to know Sam better in a future blog entry.
Kolden thinks hats are hilarious and he is super cute in them.
Here is Kade's Birthday Cake. Lots of "Cars" and the girls helped to decorate. His cake was golden butter cake with homemade Cream Cheese Buttercream Frosting. The "cars" are Lightening MacQueen, Mater, Chick, and The King, plus a few little tire changing dudes on the side. At Kade's lunch we had homemade potato salad, green salad, sugar free Strawberry Banana Jello with bananas in it, chips, and hamburgers and hot dogs. We also had ice cream with the cake.
Brian and Creta came and so did the Wallaces.
Chad and Sam (and Sam's son Clark - who is very cool too!). Chad was very helpful in getting more burgers from the store for me to grill since I completely cremated the first 6 - oops.
Cortney and Ashley came with the girls. Zoe is getting lots bigger. Halie broke her leg this week.

Kade askd me to make him a hat to wear to work for his birthday. I hope he got the good reactions he was hoping for. Happy Birthday my Kade!
