Our whole family dressed up as characters in "The Wizard of Oz". Maybe this should be our Christmas card this year, since it is hard to get a smiley picture of everyone otherwise. It does show that there is lots of drama on a daily basis, especially with so many so young. This was a very fun Halloween to dress up for.

Kade was the Tin Man and I was the Scarecrow. Kade is rusted so he cannot move. I am wishing that I had a brain.

"We're off to see the Wizard...the wonderful Wizard of Oz".

I am stuck on a pole to scare away the crows.

Kade is a bit rusty, if you listen carefully you can hear him trying to say 'oil can'.

He looks really good in chrome!

Our Cowardly Lion isn't sure he loves everyone in costumes.

Kolden makes a very cute lion just the same!

Kari is Dorothy and she is ready to follow the Yellow Brick Road in her ruby slippers.

Kari even has a version of Toto that she wishes was a real dog.

Kya is our Good Witch of the North. I personally love her stockings.

She even does some magic with her wand!

Kiera is the Wicked Witch of the West. She gives us a good lesson in choices. A short time after we took these pictures we were ready to head out to our Trunk or Treat and we were commenting on her being such a cute "Wicked Witch". She looked right at me and pointed to herself. She said, "I am GOOD WITCH, not BAD WITCH". I really felt bad that she knew she was the Wicked Witch and she didn't like it. So, from Kiera's choice to be a "Good Witch", she is now the Green Good Witch. I guess in the play "Wicked" that the Witch of the West is really a good witch.

Our Green Good Witch - Kiera! You always have a choice, even if you are stuck (with your wicked witch costume because your mom put you in it).

Cute girls!

I like this photo the best! Maybe every Halloween will be a theme year, maybe not. We will see what our kids want to do next year. Anyway, we LOVE Halloween and we love dressing up all year round! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!
