I feel the need to document our amazing daughter’s personalities. I am curious how much they will change as they grow up more. I am thinking that Kari and Kya’s will stay relatively similar,but Kiera is so young that her’s could still change quite a bit. We will see how much their personalities change as we have our little Kolden around. It will be interesting to see how a little brother will change our family dynamics.
Karinya (age 5):
Kari is our little socialite. She is a party planner and makes new friends any and every place we go, especially boys. She loves to talk to people and is very honest with her comments and questions. Kari is tall and lean. She has always had lots of natural grace and athletic ability. She never learned to walk. One day she just stood up and started running. The walking came as a result of her slowing down a bit. She is a great dancer and her teacher has asked us to have her skip up a dance class level for the fall because of her abilities. Kari loves to sing and perform as she really enjoys life. She loves musicals with mom and action adventure movies with dad. Kari enjoys playing dress-up, being extremely dramatic and using her imagination as she pretends. Kari enjoys learning new things and is finally growing a love for books. She really enjoys learning how to write and identify letters and words. She loves learning Spanish. Kari is not so competitive as much as she just enjoys doing her best because she enjoys life. Kari is growing to be a good helper and have some good work ethic. Her sisters are her “best friends” and constantly reminds them of that.
Kyandra (age 3):
Kya is our nurturer. She is the “little mama” of our family. If someone needs to be taken care of she is the one to do it. She loves calling the shots at home and making sure everyone is doing what they are suppose to be doing. Although, if you get on Kya’s bad side it is not very pleasant at all. Kya is in a pretty dress 99% of the time. She likes her “pretties” (jewelry) and she really loves shoes. She is a girly girl and quite the fashion designer. She is really getting into doing hair as well. Kya prefers the more cautious safe route. Once she knows something is safe by seeing someone else do it then she will cautiously try it out herself until she decides if it is worth doing or not. She has really great work ethic. She will stick to a job until it is done and she seems to enjoy working hard and accomplishing a task. Kya is extremely artistic. She is left-handed and loves to color, paint, draw and do most any type of art. Kya also loves musicals and is constantly singing around the house. She loves to dance and make up her own dances, but she doesn’t really like performing in front of an audience. Kya loves books and always has. She has a real natural curiosity that she often follows and ends up making some phenomenal messes as a result. She likes to cook and enjoys the greatest variety of food out of all the girls. She does a great job helping out in the garden, especially picking weeds and harvesting crops like strawberries and peas.
Kierana (18 months):
Kiera is a lovable feisty girl. She is very competitive and comes by it naturally as the third of three sisters. She has a lot of natural athletic ability. She will be a bit of a little bully as she fights for what she wants or just takes what she wants from her sisters and runs. Sometimes she will just take something from them because she knows she will get some attention for it. Kiera talks very well for her age and she is very strong. She handles herself very well on the trampoline with her big sisters and she has an awesome arm as she throws things, especially balls. She loves playing with balls, they are her favorite toy. We can see her being a feisty softball player. She, like her bigger sisters, also loves watching muscials and singing. She loves performing for people and always wants to go into Kari’s dance class to participate. Kiera’s sparkly eyes and charming smile are hard to resist. She has a great love for animals and notices tons of things in nature. She will point out any animals she can find, as well as flowers, rocks, birds, and seems eager to learn all the time. Kiera is fearless and will often take a fall because she just jumps into an adventure without hesitation. She loves being outside all the time and riding her little bike. She is not afraid to get dirty and just play. Kiera is very independent, yet she loves to cuddle and be both a daddy’s girl and a mommy’s girl. She really enjoys being softly tickled while you cuddle, especially on her legs, arms, tummy, back, toes, and face.
