We went to the hospital again on Tuesday after talking to Dr. Stratford and running to the gym to make the contractions worse. Grandma Creta & Grandpa Brian Cheesman and Grandma Beth Cottam came over to await the birth of Kolden.

Aunt Karla also came over to await Kolden's birth.

I am smiling in much pain because for sure we are not leaving without Kolden in our arms. They are preparing me for the C-section and I am signing my paper work. My contractions were down to being 2 minutes apart and I was quite tired from a very long day, and yet it was just begining to get really exciting!

Kade is prepared to go into surgery with me. He always gets to be with me until the baby actually comes out and then he goes with the baby to help with the bath.

HERE HE IS!!! Our little Kolden Kade Cheesman has arrived! When they took him out everyone cheered and then the anethesiologist yelled out that there were fireworks out the window. The baseball game had finished and were firing them off. It couldn't have been better timing! Kolden was welcomed into this world with fireworks! He weighed 6 pounds 5 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. He is by far our littlest baby, but our cutest and most handsome boy ever! The white stuff on Kolden is called vernex and all babies have it on them. The earlier they are the more they have. Kolden was 37 weeks and 4 days when he was born.

Proud Daddy Kade with his little son Kolden Kade Cheesman. During the delivery Kolden was grabbing the tubes and the doctors had to pull them away from him. Kade said that during the bath he was doing the same things and wouldn't stop grabbing things. He has big hands and he is very strong.

Kade and Grandma Creta Cheesman with Kolden.

Grandpa Brian Cheesman and Kolden. Kolden is the first name carring grandson for Brian and Creta.

Kade, Grandma Beth Cottam and Kolden. Kolden is the first grandson for Grandma Beth.

Aunt Karla and Kolden. Kolden is the first nephew on the Cottam side.

Finally I get to hold him too! Dad, Mom and Kolden. He did a great job latching on and nursing for the first time in the recovery room.

I was sooooo glad to get to hold my baby! After he was delivered the Doctor said that my uterus was extremely thin and couldn't have taken much more labor without rupturing. Consequently I had a tubal ligation performed after the birth because of my sad uterus. We are extremely blessed to have gotten all four of our kids here safely!

Daddy and Kolden again, they are best buds already.

Sisters are SO excited to have a new baby brother. We have a tradition that my dad, Sid, started when a new baby is born to have the dad and any siblings go to breakfast the day after the birth of a new baby. Grandma and Grandpa Cheesman helped Kade take all the big sisters Kari, Kya and Kiera to Denny's for breakfast!

The girls are all now big sisters and they finally get to meet baby Kolden. Kiera just kept on kissing Kolden the entire time she was close to him.

Kya gets her turn to hold little brother.

Kari gets her turn too! She wants to help change his diaper.

Kiera keeps on kissing baby Kolden. She will say "brother" and "la, la, love you" to Kolden. She is so proud to be a big sister.

Wow! We now have four kids and they are all so wonderful. I can hardly believe at how blessed we are! Welcome to the family baby Kolden! We love you!!!
