Giving Thanks

As our young family talked about Thanksgiving and giving thanks for our blessings FAMILY is the one mentioned most. Kade I feel so blessed to have our sweet daughters and the unique personalities each has. They are each our treasures that bring such joy to our lives. After we have new baby we always marvel with the thoughts of 'how did we ever live without them in our family?'. I often tell Kade that he is my greatest blessing and how grateful I get to have him for eternity. He is my very best friend and although life gets taxing and overwhelming he is my best medicine. I feel instantly better when Kade is around me, and although we have been married for 6 1/2 years and we have 3 young children and plenty of chaos and messes, I am still madly in love with him!
We are extremely blessed to have our parents and many of our siblings living so close. Our parents helped us out so much when Kade was having his surgery and even still now. We are extremely blessed! I love my siblings and their hillarious company. It seems we get some exercise in laughing with my mom, sister and brothers. It is so much fun. I really appreciate how they dote on my kids, since they are the only grandkids on my side of the family. It is great to get to be around with Kade's siblings and their families also. All the little girls and one boy are so fun to watch together.
Besides our family, Kari said one of the things she was most thankful for is Mickey Mouse. Kya said many Disney character names, especially Snow White (since she IS Snow White) and Prince Philip - he is her favorite prince (it's so funny when she says his name because it sounds more like 'butflap').
Thanksgiving was a delicious and memorable time!
